2023 Coyote Canyon Vineyard Syrah

The fruit for this complex Syrah comes from the Horse Heaven Hills AVA, and is a striking combination of New World intensity and old world savory depth. The nose is reminiscent of dried herbs and cured meat, while the dark fruit flavors of blackberry and blueberry combined with black licorice reveal additional layers as the wine opens up.  The use of 50% whole cluster fermentation give the wine a surprising freshness, backed by ample tannins that make it an age worthy wine whose best years are still to come.
