This wine marks the transition of Hawkins’ focus from Pinot Noir in the Willamette Valley to our new home on Underwood Mountain. Displaying structure that is a touch heavier than wines from the Willamette Valley. Our Underwood Pinot Noir showcases a profile that remains distinctly Columbia Gorge. Planted in vineyards with southern exposure at high elevation. These vines become heavily influenced by our famous steady breeze which lend this wine it's complex nuance and balance. Pairs well with lighter meats, heavy pastas, and charcuterie.
